I was clarifying and correcting this common misconception in the mouse and rat pet owner communities, that by not buying these mice you are hurting and reducing the breeding and selling of these animals. If you save one mouse from that situation, it creates space for them to breed more to live in that exact same bad situation. One thing I would say is that when buying a feeder, it supports the business of feeding live animals to a predator.
